What you will receive: The animals are about 1 pound each  and about 13 inches tall. We ship them in a large bubble envelope or a box for multiples. PLEASE NOTE: The box pictured does not come with the animal. There is a neck tag on each warmie with instructions on heating and freezing.

What is your heatable plush made from? All of our heatable products are meticulously designed using microwave safe, flame resistant fabric. The filling consists of microwave safe polyfill with natural flaxseed grains & dried French lavender. All the materials have been designed specifically to be heated in a microwave. 

How should I heat my heatable plush product? Each heatable product is designed to be heated in a microwave oven only, NEVER heat an Intelex product in a conventional or toaster oven. All products are clearly labeled with specific heating times for safe heating. For best results only microwave in a microwave with a turntable. Only heat from room temperature. 

What if I overheat the heatable product? All products carry specific heating instructions attached to a label sewn into the product and these instructions should be followed very carefully. If your product has been overheated by mistake you should dispose of it in normal household waste after allowing it to cool to room temperature. Do not reheat a product that has been overheated. 

How long will my heatable plush product stay warm? Your heatable product should stay warm for at least one hour if heated correctly, longer if it is snuggled in a cozy bed! 

How safe are your heatable products? All our heatable products have been tested to ASTM f963-11, EN71-1/2/3, BS8433, and European CE standards. All products have been rigorously flammability and safety tested, and fully comply with CPSIA legislation. Each heatable product is manufactured with extra strong seams, using microwave safe thread and fabrics. 

Can everyone use heatable products? Heatable products can be safely used by all ages. We recommend that heatable products are not used directly with individuals who have poor circulation, insensitive skin, flaxseed or lavender allergies. Heatable products can always be used as bed-warmers and then removed from the bed, if desired, when an individual climbs in.

Can I chill my heatable product? Absolutely! Simply place your heatable product inside a plastic sealable bag and leave it in the freezer for 2-3 hours. You can then use it as a cold pack to relieve aches and pains or to cool a hot child. 

Why does the product feel damp when first heated? This is quite normal and is due to the natural moisture content of the filling. 

What fragrance do your heatable products come in? Each product contains only 100% natural dried lavender, as lavender has been proven to be an excellent aid to relieve stress and promote sleep. When you heat your product for the first couple of times, the aroma may be quite strong, but in less than 3 or 4 heatings, the aroma will become very subtle. Eventually, over time, the lavender fragrance will fade, but can easily be refreshed by adding a couple of drops of Pure Essential Oil to the surface of the heatable product. It is important to use only “Pure Essential Oil” as the less expensive “Fragranced Oils” may leave an oily mark on the fabric. Only heat the product when the oil has completely dried. 

How can I wash my heatable product? The surface can be cleaned with a damp sponge. Our products should never be immersed in water, as the filling will be damaged and your product will no longer be able to be warmed in the microwave safely.
