Last years holiday season was a blur, so there wasn't much time for baking so I mixed up these Easy White Cake Mix Cookies with chocolate and white chocolate chips. I added red and green food coloring to the cake mix cookie batter, and they really made our cookie plate look nice & festive. I used a Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake mix for these cookies but you could use any cake mix. You can mix in just about any type of add ins such as M&M's, peanuts or chocolate chips.
Easy Cake Mix Cookies Recipe Ingredients
Betty Crocker Super Moist Cake mix 16-18oz
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Nestle White Chocolate chips- optional
Betty Crocker Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spay cookie sheet and set aside.
Add all ingedients into mixing bowl or stand mixer
Mix together cake mix, eggs, and oil until smooth.
Mix in add ins. In these pictures, I doubled the recipe and I added white chocolate chips and red dye into half the batch, and chocolate chips and green dye into the other half.
Using a medium cookie scoop or tablespoon and portion the dough onto the prepared cookie sheet 2- inches apart. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until lightly golden at the edges.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 3-4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
